About the event
This concert is our opening night and will include one of the most popular pieces of all time, The Lark Ascending and the heart breakingly beautiful On Wenlock Edge sung by one of our favourite young tenors, Alex Aldren. Joined by the wonderful Michelle Bruil on viola and Naomi Watts on cello, we will also be playing a wonderful string quartet by the celebrated young British composer, Joseph Phibbs. You will have the opportunity to hear Joseph talk about his compositions and his life at a Pre-concert talk at 6.30pm.
No ticket needed for the pre-concert talk- entrance is by donation.
